Cannot Open Capture Device /dev/video0
BUT my usb PCTV HD stick is NOT /dev/video0 so the question is how can I get tvtime to look for the usb tv tuner rather than video0? I think it's set incorrectly on video1. The ivtv developers may be aware of some compatibility issue between ivtv and tvtime/xawtv Peruse the mailing list archives and check if anybody else has had problems similar to yours. Sometimes the soundblaster is assoaciated with /dev/mixer , sometimes it's /dev/mixer2 etc. It is a device node, not a mountable partition. Probably (just a wild guess...) in 7.10 the device is not associated to /dev/video0, but to some other /dev. And just for the record, I do have a video0 in the /dev directory, along with video, video1, video24 and video32.
