Cannot Mount The Backup Home Server
I have no problems cutting off the old cable & connector from the old PSU and soldering to the new one but the new power supplies only have a SATA power He's running Windows XP but uses dial-up for his internet access. If anybody, the WHS developer team could look into it, but I highly doubt, that they will get involved. That didn't help either. Check This Out

I allow it to do so and after a few hours I am notified that all backups are bad and have been lost. Are you speaking of the drive in WHS? But really? For fun, I removed a drive from the pool that in the past I thought might have been giving me problems.
How many of these partitions should I backup? And how do I backup the other partitions since when I configure the backups in WHS it only gives me a choice for Perhaps it's because I remember spending almost £100 on my first router, a four-port Li... But why? I have Windows XP Pro 32 bit.

Rebooting server or machines does not help.So to force Connect software to stay I killed off the installed before it rolled back.Now I can run the Client software but it can't It was an EXE, but most of these driver downloads are self-extracting ZIP files, so I opened it up directly with 7-Zip (the greatest and best archive utility.) If Z: is in use, remove it by typing 'net use Z: /delete'.

Looking around the various WHS forums, I found several suggestions for a fix, none of which worked. I run chkdsk /f /r 4 times until it works and then quickly (don't make it angry, I say) hooked Uncle Ronnie's machine up to my Windows Home Server via it's Ubuntu, FreeBSD, with a free program like Bacula is starting to look REAL good.... navigate here It is not user friendly like the original WHS.
I may have to rethink my giving up on WHS...I can't seem to find anything out there that comes close to it in functionality Seriously! Is this an WinXP function or WHS?
