Windows 8 is saying the driver is 8.1.0.1263, does that mean my firmware is already version 8.1? I will try to help you, but you should use a better phrasing and some punctuation, because I'm starting to have a headache from your messages.

This means that the cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL. The rest of the package is for corporate use.If you can provide the log(s) from your Intel folder, maybe I will look into them. I could do some overclocking/voltage adjustments/execute stability tests from workplace, and see if there's a BSOD on screen, reboot the system.. This may be offending to you, but you also offended the language. You said you already solved the Vostro 3550 with the above package. Maybe MEBx 0066 is not compatible with the newer ME firmware?

I'm not a girl!! it works :)please make sure usb plugged in,make sure no battery or any other devices are attached on any usb ports before you flash using pen drive. I have attached ME8 5MB 8.1.20.1336 firmware. http://www.win-raid.com/t1353f39-No-ME-after-updating.html reply go to top #162 | RE: Intel Management Engine: Drivers, Firmware & System Tools Sat Mar 29, 2014 3:21 pm (Last edited: Sat Mar 29, 2014 11:47 pm) lordkag Show

You only need the small drivers that Fernando posted, nothing more. You should also clean "C:\Users\Jumpy\AppData\Local\Temp\", but some softwares don't understand the meaning of temp and store here the uninstaller.Delete from registry:HKLM\SOFTWARE\Intel\Services\DALHKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\eventlog\Application\IntelDalJhi- look in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Intel\ and HKLM\SOFTWARE\Intel\Services for anything ME relatedHKLM\SOFTWARE\Intel\AMT\HKLM\SOFTWARE\Intel\IntelAMTPP\HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Application\Intel(R) AMTUninstall Does it complete successfully or do you see Error 26? Where did you find the image to update?

Is there a way in the BIOS to do it? Go to "Programs-->Intel--> IMSS" Windows Device Manager - Invalid MEI Driver - look under System Devices.  If it is present, find out if it is valid or not by looking at the Use .rar or .zip as extension and not .txt, .jpg or else because the file attachments on this forum are problematic. This is why I asked you to run "ME-Test.bat" and NOT meinfo.bat. http://scriptkeeper.net/cannot-locate/cannot-locate-the-specified-media-or-backup-device.html If it works just fine (no errors at MEInfo, MEManuf), then we know the problem is the older MEBx version.

And even if you used the 8.1.65.1586 firmware from the ME thread, it wouldn't result in 8.0.10 being at your computer currently.
