Latency can be roughly measured by pinging the URL of the login server. We have a couple of users who can successfully login to Citrix, but receive the error "App not available, please try again later" when trying to open the ERP program file. Not knowing exactly what was happening, I didn’t know to try this. Lag Latency is the primary cause of poor performance in Citrix.
Once the Native Client has been deployed, choose it from the Default Client menu and click OK. We made sure IE did not update to 11 and we reinstalled citrix receiver.
