I have the same issue with three servers after appliying the windows security updates. Giving Permissions To The Output Directory To The Network Service Account I am trying to deploy to about 150 Windows 7 PCs from 5 servers (about 30 PCs per server and different LAN). A fresh windows install is needed. It does seem like a Windows update may be the culprit.

Btw, if the Appinfo was only stopped in manual mode, it is much easier to restore, by restarting in task manager, which needs no administrator authorization and could operate most services This happened after I >> >> > rebooted >> >> > the server last week, just prior this reboot the server installed >> >> > the >> >> > following Microsoft Any idea how to > > fix it?

Some of these are xp but most are 7.

Bear with me. :D I have one PC running Vista (home basic), one running XP (professional) and one running Windows 7 (home basic). You should now be able to start local services without any hitch.
